Stalmine Village
Stalmine is a lovely village in the civil parish of Stalmine-with-Staynall, in the Wyre borough of Lancashire. The village is located between Hambleton and Preesall, with activities and events galore for all ages ranging from babies to senior citizens.
Stalmine village is set in a rural location in between Lancaster City and Preston City, on the West side of Lancashire with a population of just over 1,000. It is a village steeped in history with St. James church’s sundial dated 1696. The first documented records of the area date back to 1066, although the village has several links to Roman roads and artefacts.
The Parish covers an area in excess of 2,500 acres and is predominantly rural.
